Refund & Cancellation Policy

How subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work.

SmileBrightis currently operated by its founder while company registration is being completed. These terms will be updated with the registered entity's details once incorporation is final. Paid plans are not yet enabled.

This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for SmileBright, operated by SmileBright (registration in progress). It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Free trial

Every new account starts with a free trial that includes a limited number of demo calls. The free trial does not require payment and you are not charged for it. When the trial allowance is used up, the AI stops taking new bookings until you choose a paid plan. You are never charged automatically at the end of the free trial — upgrading is a deliberate action you take.

2. Subscriptions and renewals

Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions, normally monthly, plus any one-time setup fee shown at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each billing cycle using your chosen payment method, until you cancel.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your owner portal or by emailing support@smilebright.co.in. When you cancel:

  • your subscription will not renew for the next billing cycle;
  • your AI receptionist remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for;
  • after that, the account moves to an inactive state and the AI stops taking calls.

4. Refunds

Because the Service is delivered continuously throughout each billing period, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable for partial periods — when you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, but we do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of that month.

One-time setup fees are non-refundable once setup work has begun, as they cover the configuration and provisioning of your AI receptionist.

If you were charged in error, charged after a valid cancellation, or experienced a billing problem, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate and issue a refund where appropriate.

5. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor. Once initiated, refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and notify you. If payment is not resolved, your AI receptionist may be paused until billing is brought up to date.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
